Creating connections to change the world, one child at a time.

At Spectrum Connection, we believe every child craves human connection. Some children struggle with social skills and have difficulty making friends on their own. Our mission is to create personal bonds with each child while developing the social-emotional skills they need to create meaningful relationships throughout their life.

All children have unique gifts to share. We find each child’s strengths and celebrate every success to create a trusting bond between the educator and child in a non-judgmental space. This allows children to develop the confidence to take on new challenges and learn important, practical social skills so they can lead successful and fulfilling lives.

Our goal is not to change a child or “fix” problem behaviors. Our mission is to get to know each child individually and as part of the family as a whole. Our job is to meet each child where they are developmentally and find what makes them light up. We then leverage that interest to connect with them. We make sure each interaction is rewarding and fun for the child so that interactions are intrinsically reinforcing. As the bond with us grows, we use various methods and techniques to increase their social-emotional development. We coach parents and caregivers throughout sessions so they can also facilitate their child’s social engagement and communication throughout everyday family interactions.

  • “Alessia has been a godsend for my 11-year-old son Rowan. From the very first session, she immediately developed an intuitive connection. She understands and is able to communicate with him like few others in his life. It’s obvious Alessia has a passion and special gift for working with children with autism and I’m so glad we found her!”

    Father of Rowan

  • “Alessia was a former Trinity parent when I reached out to her in need of an inclusion specialist for a child in our school. I chose to contact her because I am keenly aware of her passion and dedication to children with special needs. Alessia made certain our student was included and participated as fully as possible in our program. A loving bond formed between them and our student’s skills grew in all domains of development. Any child and parent would be fortunate to have Alessia on their team!”

  • “We greatly value the personal connection and rapport Alessia has established with our son. The connection comes from a genuine love that she has for kids and an excellent understanding and appreciation of neurodiversity.”

  • “Alessia’s gift for working with children was obvious the moment she met our daughter. She knew just how to connect with her — and she has continued to show the same engagement with her ever since. Our daughter is growing because of it. Having her join our family has been a real gift.”

    Mother of R

  • "I have known Alessia professionally and personally for many years as we had the pleasure of working together. She has an innate ability to connect to children and their caregivers. Her communication, encouragement, compassion and patience carry over to children, teachers and caregivers alike. Alessia is a true gift and has an absolute passion for children. Anyone is lucky to work with her. "
